 Absolute Whey contains a good mix of concentrated whey protein and isolated whey protein. These are different forms of the same whey protein. The difference is how it is processed from its raw form. This simply changes the macro ratio of protein:fat:carbs. Concentrates are more raw and unprocessed and contain more carbs, fats and lactose. With isolates, some of this is filtered out, leaving more raw protein. We kept it natural and very concentrated, but we also wanted to give you a whole lot of protein😉!
 BCAAs are short for Branch Chain Amino Acids. They are no different from the regular amino acids found in protein. However, BCAAs are a specific ratio of certain amino acids that have been shown to have the greatest impact on muscle protein synthesis (muscle growth). These three amino acids make up 35% of muscle tissue, and the body cannot make them on its own, which is why they are "essential." They also help prevent muscle breakdown, or "catabolism," by preserving muscle glycogen stores.
 We've added some protease, a digestive enzyme, to help with absorption. Protease is a digestive enzyme that helps break down proteins. This is necessary for the proteins to be absorbed by the body.
